Matron I’m Mrs Maxwell, the Matron at St. Margaret’s. My job involves being a first aider, I help give medication to any girls who need it, I keep in contact with parents who have any concerns about their daughters and most importantly, I’m here for a friendly and confidential chat if anyone ever has anything they want to talk about. My first aid room is always open so anyone can come to see me at any time during the school day. I’ve been at St. Margaret’s for ten years and so I have plenty of experience and as a member of the pastoral group at St Margaret’s I also help to make sure all of the girls feel at home in school. Sometimes I find my job very challenging but I always enjoy being the school nurse because no two days are ever the same. I’ve always wanted to help people and I try to make everyone feel welcome by greeting them with a smile.
