Kilve Court: Rebekah Wade
Kilve Court is a superb Experience! The actual house is a large Georgian building, though there is a more modern building at the back (which is mainly the girl’s dorms). Yet one of the rooms serves as a common room and the lunch hall, you have a choice for Lunch, dinner and a selection of cereals at breakfast.
The leaders are all extremely kind and helpful, and you soon know the leaders who are taking your course. There is normally more than 1 course going on at once, so sometimes you interact with other courses.
My Course
I did a course called ‘shapes in the landscape’ that was all to do with art. We did everything from printing with ink; sketching on A1; painting on boards; funky collages to going out in the freezing cold onto a hill to sketch the countryside around us!
Overall, I really enjoyed Kilve and I think from what I’ve heard all the courses were splendid.
