Kilve Court: Hannah Bolt
The best thing about working at Kilve is that every weekend is unique.
A typical day: taking a walk on the Quantock hills for inspiration; frantically writing and editing poetry or stories; arranging dramatic journalism scenarios! I also act as a supportive ‘big sister’ for any children who have never been away from home before. There is never a dull moment!
I help mainly on writing courses, including poetry, journalism and story writing. I really enjoy the experiences, especially because I learn new things whilst helping others. It is very rewarding.
I have been assisting with these courses for primary and secondary school children for the past few years. Kilve Court is a residential education centre in Somerset.
