Record-breaking 2009 Results
St Margaret’s celebrated its best ever A Level results this year, beating all its own records! The girls achieved A or B grades in 80% of all their subjects, and 50% at A grade alone. This was in addition to taking nearly a quarter of the Gold Awards in Devon for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Scheme.
Headmistress, Sheila Cooper said, “They have been a wonderful Upper Sixth, really rounded individuals, who have such a range of interests, among them a star disc-jockey! They have also had such support from the staff, to whom I am so very grateful. I am delighted that the girls have had such success – what a start to their university lives!”
