The Experience Our Sixth Form is a well-integrated part of the school community. This gives you all sorts of chances to try out your skills in leadership (you will quickly discover what works for you) and to take responsibility in a range of activities. These include organising House events, supervising sporting occasions, writing or directing House plays and assuming an active role on the Student Council. You will enjoy the feeling that you are providing your own positive rôle model for the younger pupils. These opportunities for personal development are invaluable in every career and in preparing you for life at university. Being told I had been chosen to be head girl was one of the highlights of this year. I was absolutely thrilled to be given this position of responsibility and am honoured to represent the place which has given me so many skills, experiences and a really happy schooling.

Since arriving at St Margaret’s 10 years ago I have sampled most of the wide and varying extra-curricular activities the school has to offer as well as completing my academic studies. Sport has always played an important part in my life and the school’s weekly clubs and matches have allowed me to become involved in playing in and organising teams.

Because of all the extensive extra circular activities that St. Margaret’s has to offer, I cannot help but try to challenge myself and participate in them. My time at school has developed me as a person; with leadership skills, communication and team building.
