The Experience

Our Sixth Form is a well-integrated part of the school community.  This gives you all sorts of chances to try out your skills in leadership (you will quickly discover what works for you) and to take responsibility in a range of activities.

These include organising House events, supervising sporting occasions, writing or directing House plays and assuming an active role on the Student Council.  You will enjoy the feeling that you are providing your own positive rôle model for the younger pupils.

These opportunities for personal development are invaluable in every career and in preparing you for life at university.

Charlie Sheppard-Vine Head Girl said

What I love about St. Margaret's is the family atmosphere you feel, that the staff and pupils know each other really well and that everyone has many opportunities to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

I participate in many musical activities including Chapel Choir who have won ‘Outstanding Performance Awards’ for the last six years in the National Festival of Music for Youth.

I have really enjoyed being Head Girl this year because I have felt that everyone is supporting me, especially my wonderful Deputy Head Girl Team.

Coming to St. Margaret's is an absolute pleasure and I will remember my experiences here for the rest of my life.
