Visit a restaurant in Condette for cookery demonstration, including A goats cheese starter and a hot chocolate dessert. Also visit a cheese factory and a Chocolaterie Sample the culinary delights! and purchase masses of chocolate for pressies.
Mrs Searle took us to Newnham College in Cambridge for a Year 10 Open Day. We travelled up on the Friday. The grounds were beautiful and the architecture was stunning.
On Friday 27th February 2009, Year 11 and the Sixth Form Mathematics and Physics students were privileged to visit the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. We were pleased to arrive to biscuits and refreshments before moving on to the more academic side of the visit.
A fun day was enjoyed by students participating in the Mathletics World Mathematics Day at St Margaret’s School on Wednesday 4th March 2009. Students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 were able to demonstrate their enthusiasm for Mathematics.
On Tuesday, our termly soloists’ concert took place in the PAC. Once again, we had a very wide range of instrumentalists and singers, performing in many different musical styles. For many of the performers, it was a ‘dress rehearsal’ for their forthcoming Associated Board or Trinity exams,

St Margaret’s was alive and reverberating with the sound of rock last week as our 70 strong cast of talented actors and musicians performed to capacity audiences for the three night run of this outstanding musical production.
Hannah Bolt, Frances Buckler, Sarah Chandler, Ceri Knox, Eleanor McClune, Emma Sobczak and Tess Whiting received their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards from the Duke of Edinburgh himself last Wednesday.
