Senior School

A video snapshot of life in our Senior School.

Bags of opportunities, lots of enjoyment and amazing achievements – that’s what St Margaret’s has always offered.  You might want to join in our choirs, star in the Netball team, explore your artistic and dramatic talents: the choice is yours.  What we can promise is that you will have a lot of fun along the way, make many friends and also achieve beyond your potential in your school work.

Our Tutor team will guide you through from Year 7 to Year 11.  There is always someone to turn to who will offer you encouragement, support and good, sound advice.  You will become progressively more independent and responsible as you grow in confidence and self-belief.

There is a wide choice of options at GCSE . The extra-curricular chances increase as you move up the school and you will be able to join CCF in Year 9 (is abseiling for you?  or do you prefer canoeing?) and then the Duke of Edinburgh’s Scheme in Year 10.  St Margaret’s has a stunning record here, with nearly a quarter of this year’s Gold Awards in Devon.

Above all, you will enjoy great friendship here and many happy days: you will work hard and play hard and prepare successfully for the Sixth Form.
