Welcome from the Headmistress

I am delighted to introduce St Margaret’s to you.  Visitors are always impressed by our warm sense of community.  The friendliness is felt from the moment you walk through the door.

So too is the sense of enjoyment and purposefulness.  We work hard and we have fun in doing so. Our academic standards are high and this is why many parents choose us, but there are other values just as dear to us.

We are a Christian school and looking after and helping others is an important part of our life together.   We are concerned to encourage individuals to achieve their very best.

Thus we are proud of our wide range of extra-curricular activities.  These provide many opportunities for everyone to develop their talents, discover their strengths and grow in confidence.

You have probably already enjoyed some of the video taken on the recent India trip: “Ain’t no mountain high enough” sums up St Margaret’s, in so many ways – and the humour and camaraderie are typical of students’ life here.

I hope you enjoy learning about the school.  The last year has seen the great success of our new (and growing) Nursery and Pre-Prep.   Do come and visit us and experience life here for yourself.  You will be very welcome.
