She returned to teaching after her three daughters had all become pupils at St Margaret’s School. She is a Year 4 form Tutor and teaches Science, Art and RS in the Prep School. She is responsible for co-ordinating the Comenius Project and enjoys being fully involved with the wider life of the school.

Mrs Angela Evemy
Year 3 Tutor
I have taught across the primary age range for over 20 years, working in Reading, Winchester and now Exeter. I have also taught in a prison, which was an interesting and fascinating challenge.

I am currently based in the Prep department as the Year 3 Form Teacher. I also teach lessons with other classes too, in both the Prep and Pre-Prep departments. I enjoy this, as I get to work with lots of children and hear all their news!

I love teaching English because words fascinate me. They are captivating, intriguing, inspiring….there are so many to choose from! Maths was always my worst subject at school and so I know how some pupils feel when they can’t work out a problem. I think this has made me a better maths teacher, than if I had been a confident number cruncher!

In the little spare time I have, I can generally be found working with my husband to renovate our old house, playing with our three demanding cats, or cleaning out the chickens!

Sarah Agg-Manning
Qualified as a teacher under the auspices of Exeter University in 1973, specialising in Drama and Art. She has taught all ages in a variety of educational establishments in Somerset, Wiltshire and Devon and has served as a school governor on four occasions both in primary and secondary schools.

Sarah has recently taken on greater responsibility for Learning Success (SLD) after having been Head of Prep for eight years. Married with three daughters, all of whom attended St Margaret’s, she is herself a past pupil of the school.
