European Theatre Company

Today we had the French play. It followed the story line of Cinderella. I enjoyed it very much. I was chosen to go up with Rebekah and Kaya. The whole play was in French with a few lines in English. I found the play very enjoyable and can’t wait until next year! It has also helped me with my French. by Laura Skinner Year 6

On Tuesday the European theatre company produced an almost modern version of Cinderella! It really encouraged you to recycle and look after the environment. It was a fantastic show that every one enjoyed and will remember. By Rebekah Wade Year 6

At 9.30pm on Tuesday, the European Theatre Company came and performed a very unique version of Cinderella. It was called ‘Cendrine Bio’ The aim of the play was to promote re-cycling and learning French in a fun and interactive way. They had many challenges which involved volunteers from the audience and even Mme Lorenc was chosen to strut her stuff on the dance floor.
Overall it was a lovely morning and I think everyone, including myself, will agree that it was a great performance. By Hannah Boxall-Hunt 9ST

I immensely enjoyed myself today at the unique re-enactment of Cinderella which was performed to us. It was spoken in French, but was very accessible to all ages and abilities. I thoroughly enjoyed the audience participation and singing in particular Robert’s Rap. The recycling aspect added a new depth to the adapted fairy tale. It was great fun and I would definitely watch another one like it. by Charlotte Mackenzie 9SM
