Bygones Museum Visit

On Thursday, 27th February, Years 5 and 6 went to Bygones, Torquay. First we walked through a life size Victorian street and you could smell the different shops as well as being able to see them. Next we walked up some stairs and looked at a rich Victorian house which was very compact as two rooms would be merged into one. After lunch we studied World War 1 and World War 2. This included how life was as a soldier in both of these wars, we saw a World War 2 Anderson Shelter and walked through a World War 1 trench.

I really enjoyed the visit to Bygones and my knowledge on the Victorians, World War 1 and World War 2 has improved.
