A space science adventure kept Year 5 and Year 6 students enthralled on Friday 2nd October 2009. Clive Purchase, a visiting astronomer from the Callington Space Centre, encouraged the students to participate in this exciting learning adventure. Shrove Tuesday celebrations began with a whole school assembly, in which Years 3 & 4 acted out a story called “The Square Pancake”, accompanied by music especially composed by the Year 10 GCSE Music Group and narrated by Mrs Lowles.
Year 5 has successfully completed the Bronze Challenge for the food award scheme. Seven pupils achieved a pass and two pupils gained a merit certificate. The course was based on the ‘Fruit and Vegetable’ section of the ‘Eatwell Plate’

Easter Presentation
The European Theatre Company
On Friday afternoon, the Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep School joined together to present Music and Drama performances in an ‘Easter Presentation’.
The European Theatre Company came and performed a very unique version of Cinderella. It was called ‘Cendrine Bio’ The aim of the play was to promote re-cycling and learning French in a fun and interactive way.
