The Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards are a major part of life at St Margaret’s School. Significant numbers of girls achieve the Gold Award each year and the most recent group of Gold Award girls have just returned from India.

Broadening Your Horizons

Students from St Margaret's go on to a huge variety of careers and courses. In addition to Medicine, Law, Veterinary Science and academic courses at Oxford, Cambridge and leading Russell group universities, we have also celebrated achievements in:

Gaining places at prestigious Central St Martin's and Wimbledon Art colleges

Being accepted to read subjects ranging from Architecture to Wildlife and Practical Conservation, including combinations of Archaeology/Ancient History, Philosophy/Spanish and Music/French.

Working in the health professions (we are always delighted with this) after degree courses such as Physiotherapy or Nursing or following interests in Nutrition or Sports Science.

Fulfilling ambitions in areas as diverse as Music, Theatre and Entertainment Management, Marketing and Events Management and Multimedia Journalism.
