90 Students Duke of Edinburgh’s Award We currently have 90 students involved from Year 9 upwards and St Margaret’s has achieved 60 Gold awards in the past 5 years... The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award provides a varied program of activities, encouraging teamwork, individual challenge and above all, fun. Fifteen expedition groups have trained during the past twelve months – 5 bronze teams completed routes in East Devon and 5 Silver teams enjoyed the beautiful Exmoor countryside in September. One group chose to horse ride their expedition, exploring the bridle ways and discovering that 3 days in the saddle is not a soft option.
