Adventure Training Everyone thinks of CCF covering a variety of military skills, involving getting very muddy and having to learn random military facts for military knowledge, but the great part is that part of the CCF syllabus involves adventure training. We are lucky enough to have a healthy variety of options in our local area and the canal down at Haven Banks was our first port of call. The cadets could choose either kayaking or raft building and picked up practical skills other that team building and working group cohesion. Now that spring/summer is on the way it makes for further opportunities to get out and about and see what the cadets are made of!
