The Biennial Inspection 2010
CCF 150 Years

2010 is the 150th year of the cadet movement and to celebrate, HRH The Queen and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh attended the Devon celebrations at Wyvern Barracks on Thursday 11th March. St Margaret’s CCF cadets were asked take part in the parade and to represent the school. Due to a limited number of tickets, Lt Sword, Lt Lyon and Sgt Allison conducted an inspection of our cadets and those with the smartest appearance were chosen to attend.

The cadets were transported out to Woodbury Common on Wednesday 2nd July 2008 with excitement and some anxiety as to what it would be like to basher up, for many being the first time, under the stars…
On Saturday 12th July 18 cadets from St Margaret’s CCF departed for Penhale in Cornwall where the Regular Army accommodate us, amongst 400 other cadets from around the South West.
