Pennywell Farm Just before Christmas the Nursery and Pre-Prep department went on a trip to Pennywell Farm to see a live nativity play and to meet a very special visitor. For many of the Nursery children it was their very first school trip and we were delighted with the response from the children who were all enthusiastic about the day. Some of the children had the opportunity to dress up in costume and to be part of the nativity play which involved real animals and we all joined in with the carols and songs. When the play had finished we were lucky enough to have a very special visitor who had come all the way from the North Pole with his live Reindeer! We all went to see Father Christmas in his grotto and he gave each child a special early Christmas present. It was a lovely trip and the staff at Pennywell commented on how well behaved our children were, which was a lovely way to end such an exciting day!
