Children swap pencils for pumpkins at St Margaret’s Holiday Club
Scary faces have been appearing alongside happy faces at St Margaret’s this half-term, as children attending the school’s Holiday Club have been busy carving pumpkins and making decorations in preparation for a Halloween celebration on Friday. The Holiday Club is open to all boys and girls from ages 3-8, not just St Margaret’s pupils, and offers a range of activities including arts and crafts, sport and, this week, spooky goings-on.
“The Holiday Club we ran during the summer break this year proved so popular that we had many requests for it to run every holiday and we are delighted to once again offer the option of safe, high-quality childcare for working parents.” said Mrs Sheila Cooper, Headmistress of St Margaret’s. “The children have such great fun – a trip to make pizzas at a local restaurant was particularly well-received in the summer – and they all say it isn’t like being at school at all!”
Note: St Margaret’s School Holiday Club is open to boys and girls aged from 3-8 and is open from 8am to 6pm. For more information, telephone 01392 491699 or see www.stmargarets-school.co.uk
