World Maths Day
A fun day was enjoyed by students participating in the Mathletics World Mathematics Day at St Margaret’s School on Wednesday 4th March 2009. Students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 were able to demonstrate their enthusiasm for Mathematics. The introduction of this motivational event has allowed pupils to compete with mathematicians all over the world. Students united with schools from around the world to try to set a new world record! The Challenge - to correctly answer more than 182,445,169 questions in 48 hours.

The interactive teaching of Mathematics using ICT is the driving force behind individual learning platforms. Students’ work is continually assessed to monitor performance whilst they are enjoying the added value of this new dimension in the teaching and learning of Mathematics.
