Young Chef National Final 2012

Zoe Sing wowed the judges at the Devon Rotary Young chef competition on the 16th January. Using local scallops and sea bass from Beer, she created a stunning 3 course menu culminating in boiled egg and soldiers! Zoe’s artistic creative flair came to the fore as she cooked a crème brulée in an egg shell and served with brioche soldiers and a Raspberry Coulis. Zoe now moves through to the South West counties final in February and the Springboard Young chef semi-final as well.

Next term we have Master classes run by a professional chef for our enthusiastic students chefs who look forward to emulating Zoe’s success next year.
