St Margaret’s Top Ten Hat Trick
Three girls at St Margaret’s were among the highest scorers at GCSE this summer. Olivia Ball was among the top ten out of the 94,231 candidates who sat GCSE Religious Studies (Edexcel Board). In German, out of 19,473 candidates, two out of the top ten scores were gained by girls at St Margaret’s, Rhiannon Fuller and Natasha Douglas. Both girls are now studying German for A Level.
Headmistress Sheila Cooper said, “We are all delighted for the girls and extremely proud of their achievements. It is a real tribute to their hard work and to the expertise and dedication of their teachers. We are particularly pleased that Modern Languages continue to be studied with such success at St Margaret’s, whatever the trends elsewhere.”
Rhiannon, Natasha and Olivia are pictured below with their German teacher and Head of Year, Mrs Lindy Grundberg, Assistant Head at St Margaret’s.
