Carol Service

The lights were turned out inside Exeter Cathedral on Tuesday for a special candlelit procession to 'O Come All Ye Faithfull' at the start of St Margaret's Scool carol service. Led jointly by the school's Chaplain Mrs Jane Frost and the Dean, Jonathan Meyrick, pupils and their families filled the cathedral for a service in which the emphasis was on the true message of Christmas.

All the carols sung had been chosen by school families as being their favourite Christmas hymns. Away in a Manger was performed by children from Reception and Years one and Two, while the school's Chapel Choir performed music throughout the service from Benjamin's Britten's 'A Ceromony of Carols'.
