‘Importance of Being Ernest’- School Production November 2006

The cast of the school production ‘The Importance of Being Ernest’ produced in 1968 were invited to return to school to see the new production of the play- produced this time by Mr Nick Dereza- Head of Drama.

Mrs Kathie Yeo – (nee Palmer) – who directed the play and was Deputy Head.

Mrs Mary Swainger – Costumes

Mrs Sarah Agg- Manning (nee Young) who played Algernon Moncrieff and is now Head of St Margaret’s Junior House

Mrs Celia Taverner- (nee Nelson) who played Gwendolene

Unable to attend were:

Mrs Sandra Cahill (nee Maeer) – Lady Bracknell- Sandra now lives in London

Dr Lesley Joy – Jack Worthing- Ernest- Lesley now lives in Vancouver

Mrs Christine Hall (nee Quaintance) – Dr Chausible- Christine now lives in Redruth
