Miss Boggis Lunch On Saturday 27th September 2008 the sun shone and the school corridors and classrooms resounded once again to the laughter and chatter of pupils but this time not current pupils but those who were at St Margaret’s in the 1950’s and 60’s. It was the alumnae reunion lunch and many had not returned to the school for over 50 years. There were recounted tales of past adventures and memories shared. Miss Boggis travelled from her home in Birmingham for the occasion and astounded everyone with her enthusiasm and energy as well as her wonderful memory for past events, pupils’ names and family histories. Current pupils helped with tours of the school, entertained with some beautiful music and the school chef and catering staff provided a superb lunch. Thank you to everyone who made it such an enjoyable occasion. |
