Biennial Dinner 2007
There was a special reunion dinner held in the school hall on 30th June 2007 which 60 alumnae, ex staff, current staff and head girls attended.
The following alumnae leavers’ year groups were represented- 1945, 1957, 1971, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1998.
There was so much fun and laughter as memories were exchanged and updates on changes and events over the intervening years since everyone had last met. For many this seemed like a lifetime ago, however for some it felt as though they had never been away, especially when after the wonderful dinner, prepared by the school chef- Mr Andrew Ward, there were tours around many of the classrooms which brought ‘hoots of laughter’ from the corridors and it was wonderful to hear tales about teachers and reminiscences about times that for many were happy days.
