Visiting the School

Open Days for interested families are held every term. The Open Evening and Morning in October is on a Friday 5th and Saturday 6th October. In Spring and Summer you are welcome to visit the school ‘in action’ and watch/join in lessons, during the working day. Please ask for details from the Admissions Secretary.

If your daughter or son would like to discover more about life at St Margaret’s, then we offer ‘taster days’ for your child to join their age-group and to experience some of her favourite subjects with us.

Activity Days Other possibilities exist for pupils to become familiar with the school.  A Drama & Music worshop, Art Activity Day, Super Science Saturday and Maths Masterclasses take place during the year.

Entrance Tests for the Senior School are held in January and at other points during the year on request. They comprise English and Maths exams, for which no preparation is required. The Headmaster also talks to each prospective pupil to get to know them and discover their interests.
